Four-Day JESUS Film Blitz Draws Huge Crowds

Four villages in Chad see huge response to the JESUS film.

Thousands indicated decisions to receive Jesus as their Savior during an evangelistic blitz in the African country of Chad.

Over 4 days in 2005 and in 4 different villages, more than 29,000 people attended showings of the JESUS film. Approximately 6,500 indicated that they had prayed and received Christ.

On the last night, just outside the capital of N'Djamena, there was a thanksgiving gathering for the leaders of the Marba churches, the language of the JESUS film shown in the villages. That night, more than 8,000 people attended the showing. The number of those who came forward to receive Christ was so high that it was difficult to see just how many people responded.
