Lori Beyar

Vice President for Leader Strategies

Dr. Lori Beyar’s life was transformed by the love of Jesus in her second year of college at University of California Santa Barbara through Campus Crusade for Christ ministry. Since then, she has desired to live out Galatians 2:20, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” A passion for the world and to go wherever He wanted her to go was born. That passion led her to Czechoslovakia in 1990 after the Berlin Wall came down.

Married in 1992, Lori and her husband Keith ministered in Central Asia for six years, serving in a variety of roles. They moved to Moscow, Russia, in 2002, trusting God to reach the 1.1 million college students in the city.

God built her passion for leaders through multiple opportunities to connect to the business and diplomatic community. As she pursued her Doctorate in Transformational Leadership, her desire to empower people to become the leaders God desired for them to be continued to grow.

In 2014, Lori and Keith joined the Area Leadership Team of Central and Eastern Europe, facilitating leadership development and strategic direction. Motivated by challenges and moving towards leaders, Lori became the Area Leader of Specialized Movement Strategies in 2019. She gave oversight to Leader Strategies, including Crescendo, LeaderImpact, Military, International School Project, Athletes in Action, and FamilyLife.

Appointed as Global Vice President of Leader Strategies in 2021, Dr. Beyar is passionate about reaching the different audiences in society.  She desires to surface the possibilities where leaders become followers of Jesus and are equipped with training and a vision to be part of fulfilling the Great Commission. She loves engaging with leaders, so that together they can see how the work of the mission can grow.

Lori and Keith currently live in Budapest, Hungary, and have three college-aged children, Emma, Joel, and Nadya. She loves adventures, distance running, and sharing a good meal with brothers and sisters in Jesus.
