The main goals for the week will be for your group to build relationships with each other, to gain experience in serving and sharing the gospel and to increase vision for advancing the Kingdom of God. Participants will be divided up into teams to serve at various inner-city churches and ministries. Teams will minister to inner-city children, teens, college students, the homeless, etc.
Urban Immersion in the Twin Cities is available all four weeks in March. Weekly start and end dates are yet to be determined and can be customized for your group.
Continental breakfast and dinner are included in the conference cost. Lunch will be on your own near ministry sites.
We have housing options that range from arranging your own housing, having your group stay in the building of one of our church partners that has showers, a kitchen, and space for your group, along with other possible options. Let’s have a conversation about what would work best for your group.
Between $125 to $200 per student depending on the number of days, housing, etc.
Most importantly, bring a humble teachable spirit. Also bring toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, house shoes, gym shoes, casual clothing, work clothing, a dressy outfit for the possibility of serving in a more formal setting, money for lunches and transportation costs, musical instruments, Bible, notepads, cards and games for the evenings, insurance forms, etc.
Because your group will be working with youth, background checks will be performed for all participants. This is included in the cost of the conference.
All participants must be at least 18 years old.
