Teen Resources

Relationship with Self

S.A.Y. Yes! Centers for Youth Development®

Human beings are incredibly complex; a teenager needs to understand not only his/her physical self, but also the emotional self, the intellectual self, the social self, and the spiritual self. The following resources will help your teens to deal with their physical health and body issues, their feelings (loneliness, wanting to belong, anger or resentment, depression), their minds and what the future holds for them, how they see themselves as compared to their peers, how they deal with temptation and their accountability to God.

Bad to the Bone: Fifteen Cool Bible Heroes Who Lived Radical Lives for God

Be a rebel for God! Young Bible heroes like Daniel, Esther, and Josiah weren't afraid to go against the crowd. No matter what, they didn't back down from God's calling. They were committed to Him all the way down to the bone, and God used them in supernatural ways. Want this for your life? Let this daily devotional rock you to the core!

Miles McPherson helps teenagers to relate to the struggles and victories of these young people in the Bible, and to connect with them as peers and even "role models." He encourages teens to know that their problems and temptations are the same ones that teenagers have faced for thousands of years … and the Bible gives timeless hope and advice for conquering them!
