Grad Fellows

Future and Current Grad Students: Something New Is Happening!

There are 3 million grad students in the U.S. and many more around the world. Most don't know Christ and the life He offers--likely because they haven't been given the opportunity to know Him. But imagine what could happen if they found a community of fellow grad students whose hearts were captured by Christ?

You can make this happen--while pursuing your degree! You can join with other Cru students (who just might become your dearest friends) and help launch a grad movement across the country by building a community of grad students on your campus. Sound like a big job? We can show you the way; it could be easier than you think!

This summer we are launching the Grad Fellows Summer Mission--a three week mission on the campus of Penn State University that will equip you with the tools needed to create a Cru grad community on your campus. It is open to students currently enrolled in grad school with at least 2 years remaining in their program and to those enrolling in grad school in 2018.

During the summer mission, you will:

  • Connect with other Cru grad students and professors.
  • Learn how to thrive in grad school.
  • Develop life-long skills for ministering in the academy and to your friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
  • Spend several days on the battlefields of Gettysburg taking part in an amazing immersive leadership development conference.

It will be an incredible three weeks together, and when you leave you will have everything you need to launch a grad movement on your campus. And acutally, the summer mission itself is just the beginning. It is the first part of a new opportunity in Cru called Grad Fellows.

Grad Fellows is a community of grad students committed to helping one another pursue God, others, and their calling in grad school and build a movement on their campus to take the hope of Christ to their peers. As a Grad Fellow, you will stay connected to other Grad Fellows and Grad Ministry staff for ongoing coaching. And you will have the opportunity to help Cru pioneer grad ministry.

Are you ready to trust God to start something new among grad students on your campus?
